"Anti-Dutch disease"

We are all familiar with "Dutch disease": an increase in income leads to an increase in demand for services, leading to a rise in the relative price of services, and hence a shift in the economy from industry to services , and deindustrialisation. What we are seeing today is exactly the opposite: the income not spent during the COVID crisis led to a sharp increase in demand for goods. The shift in the structure of demand from services to goods drove up the prices of commodities, transport, semiconductors, etc., and therefore drove up the price of goods relative to services. This should eventually contribute to reindustrialisation. We have just observed the exact opposite of Dutch disease.
