Competition in goods and services markets has become greater in the euro zone than in the United States, which is a concern for the United States

When we look at the evolution of profit margins , the concentration of companies, the return on equity and new start-ups, we see that competition in the goods and services markets has become greater in the euro zone than in the United States. The weakening of competition in the goods and services markets in the United States is a concern. Across OECD countries, weak competition in the goods market is associated with weak investment, productivity gains and growth and a low employment rate.
