Core inflation rebounds in June
The euro area flash estimate for headline inflation stood at 1.2%yoy in June; in line with expectations. At the same time, c ore inflation came in slightly stronger than expected rising to 1.1% after 0.8% in May. Looking through the monthly volatility, however, core inflation continues to move sideways, with no clear trend – either to the up - or the downside – emerging .
