Draghi’s farewell: never give up
The last press conference of Mr Draghi was, as widely expected , uneventful after the announcement of the easing package in September. Mr Draghi was adamant that developments since the last meeting were showing that the decisions taken were the correct response of the ECB to rising risks . He also downplayed the rift in the Governing Council, arguing that controversies were part of life for a central bank.
