Euro Area growth in Q2 still robust

In the second quarter of 2024 Euro Area GDP increased by 0.3 % Q/Q after +0.3% in Q1 (+ 0.6 % Y/Y from 0.4% Y/Y previously ) . The outcome is slightly above consensus expectations (+ 0.2% Q/Q ) but in line with our forecast . The numbers released today remain consistent with our scenario of an annual growth of 0.8% in 2024.
