EURO AREA INFLATION IN LINE WITH ECB EXPECTATIONS IN OCTOBER
According to Eurostat ’s flash e stimate of inflation in October, consumer prices increased by 2.2% while core inflation (excluding energy, food, alcohol and tobacco) reached 1.1%. The two indicators improved during the month by 0.1 point and 0.2 point respectively.
