Euro area: low but steady growth, core inflation stable
The euro area economy grew 0.2% in the third quarter , the same rate as in Q2. F orward looking indicators suggest a further easing in Q4, though still positive growth . The October flash reading for inflation showed a small up-tick to 1.1% after 1.0%. Looking through the monthly volatility, core inflation remains range bound.
