Euro area: Strong July PMI readings
The July flash PMI readings came in much stronger than expected , overshooting now their pre-crisis level. While we would not take these readings at face value , and expect forthcom ing hard data to be less bu o yant, today’s figures nonetheless show that the growth momentum in the euro area remains robust.
