France: waiting for Macron political announcements tonight

After two months of discussions in 10,000 debates held throughout France, Emmanuel Macron is expected to reveal tonight at 8 p.m . the main proposals during a televised speech. It will be followed by a press conference on Wednesday 17 April. Strong and important measures have already been announced by the Prime Minister. Many key reform pillars are expected, including announcements of new tax relief, measures on environmental policy; measures toward a more participatory democracy at national level, a reform of the French high-level public administration. But due to the willingness to fulfill EU commitment regarding public finances, tonight's announcements should also include some funding counterparts.
