Greece: the end of Alexis Tsipras’ era
On Sunday 7 th of July, the opposition party New Democracy (ND) won the legislative elections and reached an absolute majority within the Greek Senate. The conservative leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis will become the next Prime Minister. Despite a comfortable victory he remained quite cautious in his first statement signaling that the country is still facing challenging issues.
