Inflation is rising again in July (+0.8% YoY)

French CPI increased by 0.4% on a monthly basis in July and by + 0.8% YoY . This increase in prices is observed after a period of disinflation since early 2020 . The rebound is explained by an increase in energy prices (+1% MoM) and in services (+0.9% MoM). In addition, with the postponed sales period, prices of manufactured goods stabilized (0% MoM) . On the other hand , food prices decreased by -0.9% MoM.
