Labor market strong despite payrolls miss
Despite the miss on headline payrolls, the employment report for January continues to show a resilient labor market. With price pressures remaining sticky, there is little reason for the Fed to consider cuts in its March meeting and it will continue to take its time to assess how the Trump’s policies work their way through the economy.
