MAY BE MAYBE NOT
Editorial Following an intense week, Theresa May emerged weaker than ever. On Wednesday she did, admittedly, succeed in obtaining approval for the technical agreement on Brexit negotiated in Brussels, but it is far from being politically approved. After several of her Cabinet members resigned, Theresa May was yesterday challenged by virtually all members of the House of Commons, including those of her own party, while a no confidence vote is now looming. The probability that the agreement will be approved by the UK Parliament now seems very low. One thing is certain: the discussions on Brexit are not about to calm down in the kingdom. Like the manoeuvres by the Catalan separatists, those in British politics have succeeded in polarising the oppositions to the point of making any dialogue virtually impossible and pulling the kingdom apart.
