OECD countries: How to maintain living standards through the three transitions?

OECD countries face three simultaneous transitions that threaten the living standards of the population: The demographic transition is reducing the number of workers (the employed) in the total population; The technological transition (robots, artificial intelligence) is leading to the replacement of intermediate jobs that pay quite high wages by unsophisticated services jobs paying low wages; The energy transition is going to both drive up the cost of energy (due to the intermittent nature of renewable energies) and lead to a contraction in fossil fuel-related industries. We should not delude ourselves: the combination of these three transitions poses a significant threat to living standards in the OECD countries affected by them .
