“Trumpism” is not neo-liberalism

There is often talk of “US neo-liberal capitalism”. But when we look at “Trumpism” in terms of economics, we are far from neo-liberalism: Admittedly, social welfare in the United States remains weak and inequality is increasingly high ; But, conversely: Income distribution has become more employee-friendly; There has been no fight against monopolies (liberalism normally leads to competition); There has been protectionism (liberalism is positive for free trade); There has been massive government intervention to stimulate the economy.
