United States: Can we see a sign of a deterioration in some borrowers’ situation?

We therefore look at the different categories of loans in the United States, to determine whether there are signs of difficulties among borrowers. This can include: Commercial mortgages; Residential mortgages; Credit card loans ; Auto loans; Student loans; Leveraged loans (loans to indebted companies, to LBOs); Corporate bonds. Currently , we see signs of loss of borrower solvency as regards only auto loans and student loans (the latter being mainly federal loans).
