United States - euro zone: Different productive choices

When comparing the production technology in the United States and the euro zone, we see: Use of technologies that are more labour intensive, i.e. that use more labour in the euro zone than in the United States, with markedly lower labour productivity in the euro zone than in the United States; Markedly greater use of new technologies (robots, digital technology, etc. ) in the United States than in the euro zone. This has led to: In the euro zone, a greater need for labour than in the United States, which may explain why the participation rate is higher than in the United States; In the United States, a higher technological level than in the euro zone, which has led to a higher standard of living than in the euro zone.
