US growth will inevitably slow down: What will Donald Trump do?

The return to full employment in the United States will inevitably lead to a decline in US growth, which is incompatible with Donald Trump’s goals. How will he react to the slowdown in growth? We could fear : An even more expansionary fiscal policy, which would merely increase the US external deficit; An extension of the protectionist measures, with a resulting loss of purchasing p ower for Americans and currency crises in the rest of the world; Pressure on the Federal Reserve to raise its interest rates less than what it intends to do, i.e. attacks on the Federal Reserve’s independence.
