US-Iran conflict: entering a new phase
Following the killing o f Iranian general and Quds commander Qassem Suleimani on Jan . 3 by an US air strike and the subsequent Iranian retaliatory attack s against two military bases hosting US forces on Jan . 7 , the conflict between Washington and Tehran seems to have eased again . Both parts hav e expressed their unwillingness to embark o n an armed conflict , but we believe tensions between the two countries will persist as the Washington-Tehran feud enters a new phase .
