We must simply accept the idea that listed equity markets no longer serve any purpose

In OECD countries, listed equity markets: Are no longer used to finance companies, which are self-financed or debt financed; No longer correctly measure the value of companies, due to high share price variability that makes them diverge from their fundamental value, and which discourages savers. When a financial market is pointless, it is eventually doomed to disappear.
