What are the remaining sources of cycles and recessions?

All mechanisms that triggered a recession and that were related to the rise in interest rates (downturn in investment, asset prices and debt) have now disappeared (we study the cases of the United States and the euro zone). So what factors remain that could give rise to a cyclical downturn or a recession? A fall in confidence caused by a geopolitical cause or domestic policy; The spontaneous cycle in corporate or housing investment (the famous Samuelson cycle).
