What could drive up share prices in the euro zone?

Share prices in the euro zone could rise on the back of: Expectations o f faster corporate earnings growth. This is unlikely, as earnings are already expected to grow rapidly; A rise in the valuation of European equities (a rise in PERs), which is quite possible, as the European equity risk premium is very high, which shows that equity investors do not believe that long-term interest rates will remain very low; More positive equity buying flows, which is likely, a s institutional investors (life insurers) have to diversify their portfolios into equities due to the very low bond returns.
