What if we had to be much less optimistic about growth forecasts in 2022?

Consensus growth forecasts for 2022 are still very favourable. But are they not far too optimistic? Growth in 2022 (we look at the United States, the United Kingdom and the euro zone) will be negatively affected by: The effects of the Omicron variant wave; The decline in real wages due to the rise in inflation; The decline in fiscal deficits (especially in the United States); Activity remaining weak in certain industries (automotive, air transport, etc.); The weakening of Chinese growth.
