Who suffers when there is no longer any growth?

It is conceivable that long-term growth in OECD countries will become very low: Either spontaneously, as each recession weakens long-term growth; Or deliberately, to contribute to reducing CO 2 emissions and to the environmental transition. Which category of economic agents would suffer the most from a halt to growth if nothing is done to correct it? To try to find out, we seek to determine who in OECD countries suffered from the fall in potential growth in the aftermath of the subprime crisis: Employees, and at what wage and skill level? Companies' shareholders? Pensioners? Young people and the unemployed? We see a deterioration in the situation of low-skilled people, pensioners, young people and, in the euro zone only, shareholders.
