Who would lose the most in the event of a serious crisis between China and the OECD?

There could be a serious crisis between China and the OECD , leading to a severing of economic ties between the two regions. China would lose the direct investment inflows it receives from the OECD and its exports to the OECD. The OECD would lose its exports to China, the sales in China of its companies’ China-based subsidiaries and the ability to import cheaply from China. A comparison of both sets of losses shows that China would lose more than the OECD in this scenario of a full severing of economic ties between the two parties .  China could therefore be expected to try harder to avert such a rupture.
