ACP updated: refining thoughts on the timing of impacts
We published our Broadband Trends report this week which posited that the winddown of the ACP program actually started in 1Q24, and this probably accounted for the drop in broadband market growth. It probably also drove results at Charter that were worse than expected. In this brief follow-up, we refined our thoughts on the timing of the remainder of the impact based on our understanding of how the operators account for churn.
