BEAD: Virginia releases final proposal
Last week, Virginia Office of Broadband released their final proposal for the BEAD program. Cable won more than expected and large ILECs won less than expected. In this short note, we discuss the proposal, compare the results with our estimates from Broadband Insights database, and discuss the implications for broadband companies.
