Brightspeed: quick thoughts of fiber deployment
What’s new: Brightspeed announced that they eliminated $1.1BN of bank debt, raised more cash to fund their build, and increased their build target. This should pave the way for the debt to land in the hands of our clients (beyond the Embarq bonds that are already in public hands). In this note, we used our Broadband Insights database to explore competitive dynamics in Brightspeed’s markets, including which Cable companies will be most impacted by their fiber deployments.
