Court Overturns Trump Tariffs

As we discussed in several prior notes, Trump’s tariffs stood a significant chance of being overturned by the courts. Last night, the courts took a step in that direction, ruling that Trump’s tariffs were not authorized by the statute on which Trump relied. In this quick note, we summarized our prior notes and analyze the path forward for the litigation.
