COVID-19 - It’s Over...for 2022
Since early 2020 we have been consistently more bearish than the market about the duration of the impact of COVID-19. We forecasted that US hospitalisations would soar in the Summer, that international travel would be restricted through the Summer & that disruption would last well into 2021. HOWEVER, we finally believe we have clear evidence that infections (and hospitalisations) will collapse in 2022 by 50-80% & that COVID is now manageable. However, we show that there could be a bounce back in 2023.
