COVID-19 - To Be Immune or Not To Be Immune
Whilst the reopening outlook for the coming months is becoming increasingly well understood, immunity to COVID and the risk of reinfection is the next key issue that needs to be resolved, in our view. Our deep-dive on the workings of the immune response shows that only one of the four immune responses creates L-T immunity to COVID-19 & only ~70% of people will utilise this response. This has important ramifications for analysing serological surveys, calculating herd immunity, calculating hospital surge capacity plus many other factors that will allow economic activity to return to normal.
