NSR Policy Quick Take: Third Time’s Not the Charm for Cantwell Spectrum/ACP Effort
A third effort to get the Senate Commerce Committee to pass legislation offering both spectrum reform proposals and an Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) extension was scheduled for today. Late last night there were news reports, which we believe to be accurate, that the effort is facing difficulties and today’s vote will not happen. There is a possibility that there will be a fourth effort in the next few weeks, but we are skeptical about that.
