What’s new: We are updating our model following comments at recent conferences. Consumer postpaidphone gross adds have improved, but net adds will remain negative in Q3 from the impact of price hikes;
the controversy at earnings will likely surround the return to growth in Consumer postpaid phone the
company seemingly expects in Q4. Broadband adds – both FWB and fiber – are accelerating and
Verizon’s FWB could supplant T-Mobile as the source of pressure on Cable’s adds as we progress
through the next year.
