Airbus Group : Q3 preview: volumes return and destocking begins
>Strong positive inflection in Q3 thanks to the return of volumes - Excluding exceptional items, we forecast a marked acceleration in profitability in Q3, with adjusted EBIT of € 930m (-42%) for sales of € 11.6bn, down -24%. However, it seems that the company will factor in a further programme writedown of around € 0.3bn within the adjusted EBIT line after the € 0.9bn booked in Q2. Excluding writedowns, we are modelling EBIT of € 784m for Airbus Commercial (note that ...Airbus is an European Aeronautic Defense and Space company whose core business is the manufacturing of commercial aircraft, civil and military helicopters, commercial space launch vehicles, missiles, military aircraft, satellites and defense systems and defense electronics and the rendering of services related to these activities.
