Bpost : Preview 1Q21: issues to resolve, but discount overdone
>1Q21 expected to be strong, but we are more cautious than consensus - Bpost is set to report its 1Q21 results on 5 May 2021 after the close. We expect bpost to report a strong first quarter and that it will be ahead of its original 2021 adjusted EBIT schedule. As with several of its European peers, we expect the surge in BeNe parcel volumes continued in 1Q21. In the first two months, volumes grew by more than 50%, but we expect March to have had a dilutive effect due...Bpost is engaged in the provision of national and international mail and parcels services comprising the collection, transport, sorting and distribution of addressed and non-addressed mail, printed documents, newspapers and parcels. In addition, through its subsidiaries and business units, Co. sells a range of other products and services, including postal, parcels, banking and financial products, express delivery services, document management and related activities. Co. operates through two business units: the Mail & Retail Solutions and the Parcels & International.
