Imerys : Finalisation of “operation roofingâ€
>Closing date for the divestment of the roofing activity - This morning, Imerys announced the finalisation of the sale of its roofing business to an entity affiliated to Lone Star Funds for an EV of € 1.0bn. This corresponds to a valuation multiple of 9x 2017e EV/EBITDA. Note that this division was deconsolidated from our model in H1. Imerys Toiture principally addresses the construction market in France. In 2017 the division generated sales of € 300m, EBITDA of ...Imerys is engaged in the production and the processing of minerals. Co.'s operations can be divided into four business groups: Minerals for Ceramics, Refractories, Abrasives and Foundry (minerals mainly for floor tiles, sanitaryware, porcelain, mobile energy as well as high-temperature and abrasive industries); Performance and Filtration Minerals (plastics, rubber, coatings, sealants and adhesives, health, beauty and filtration of nutrition liquids); Pigments for Paper (filler and coating products for paper) and Materials and Monolithics (construction materials in clay and slate and monolithic products and solutions for high-temperature industries).
