>Sale of stake of Philippines business at a good price! - LafargeHolcim has announced the divestment of its stake in Holcim Philippines for CHFÂ 2.15bn ($Â 2.15bn) in cash. The buyer, San Miguel Corp, is a Philippine conglomerate active in many sectors: beer, oil, energy and infrastructure. On the basis of a 2018 net debt of CHFÂ 70m and a stake of 85.7%, LafargeHolcim would receive a substantial cash amount of CHFÂ 1.78bn.The price per tonne of capacity is estimated...LafargeHolcim is a producer of cement and aggregates. Co. also supplies ready-mix concrete, concrete products, asphalt and a range of services. Co. operates through three segments: cement, aggregates, and other construction materials and services. Co.'s cement segment provides a range of cementitious materials and also develops customized blends for special applications. Through its aggregates segment, Co. produces aggregates which include crushed stone, gravel and sand mainly used in the manufacture of ready-mix concrete, concrete products and asphalt, as well as for road building and railway tracks, with production centered on quarrying, preparing and sorting the raw material.
