>Revenues ahead of expectations in Q3 driven by financial advisory - Rothschild & Co yesterday evening reported Q3 2021 revenues ahead of our expectations. Q3 2021 revenues came in at € 666.7m (+65% vs Q3 2020), 11.6% ahead of our forecast (€ 597.5m). The gap stemmed mainly from the financial advisory business, whose revenues set a new record in Q3 2021 at € 464m (+77% vs Q3 2020), well above the historical revenue average for Q3 and also well above already very high...Rothschild & Co SCA is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is engaged in banking activities and private equity. Co.'s banking activities include Investment Banking which comprises advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, advisory services for finance and restructuring, the primary equity capital market and the private placement of loans and shares; Corporate banking which comprises direct loans and structuring of financing packages; Private banking which comprises trust services, asset management and strategic planning; and Merchant Banking. Co.'s private equity activities involve investing in essentially medium-sized French companies, alongside a financial partner.
