Telenet : Patience is wearing thin
>A six-month lag between higher wage costs and higher prices - As we wrote in our post-results note published 28 April, Telenet’s Q1 2022 was indeed not particularly good. Higher energy prices, the timing of both tax and interest payments in Q1 this year (impacting FCF), and a margin squeeze from higher wages impacted results.
