TF1 : Q3 EBITA slightly higher thanks to lower costs, no major changes made to our forecasts
>Q4 looking good thanks to the World Cup - TF1 released its Q3 results yesterday evening and they came out better than we expected. EBITA amounted to € 50m while we were looking for € 44.5m. The main difference between our forecasts and the actual figures concerned the group’s effective cost control as costs came out slightly lower than we expected. The group held a conference call during which it said that Q4 was going rather well and that its backlog was filling up ...Television Francaise 1 is a French general-interest television channel. Co. is an integrated communications group. Its activities cover the whole of the audiovisual industry: upstream in production, acquisition and sale of audiovisual rights and also in distribution of feature films to cinemas; downstream in sale of advertising space, and publishing and distribution of DVDs and music CDs. Co. is also engaged in home-shopping TV with Teleshopping, and pay-TV market. In addition, Co. produces multimedia content. Its activities can be divided into four sectors: Broadcasting France, Broadcasting International, Audiovisual Rights and Other Activities.
