Volkswagen (pref) : Very encouraging 2021 outlook
>Another solid release, for 2020 but also and most importantly for 2021 - VW on Friday posted new preliminary 2020 figures that slightly exceeded the already very solid numbers posted in January. Adjusted EBIT came in at € 10.6bn vs ~€ 10bn announced previously and FCF of € 6.4bn vs ~€ 6.0bn. Over and above this, the nice surprise came from the dividend (€ 4.8 vs a consensus of € 3.5), which is stable on 2019, thus confirming the group’s more shareholder friendly appr...Volkswagen the parent company of the Volkswagen Group. It develops vehicles and components for the Group's brands, and produces and sells vehicles such as passenger cars and light commercial vehicles for the Volkswagen Passenger Cars and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brands. In the electricity sector, Co. performs electricity generation, sales and distribution together with a Group subsidiary. Western Europe, China, Brazil, the U.S., Russia, Mexico and Argentina are the key markets of the Group. The automotive division comprises the passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and power engineering segments, while the financial services division corresponds to the financial services segment.
