WPP : Feedback from analysts’ day: ambitious plan but uncertainties remain in the sector
>Return to historic growth levels in the sector - Yesterday, WPP hosted an analysts’ day during which it presented its short and long-term targets. The group is targeting a return to the level of organic growth achieved until 2018 (~3% per annum), notably based on an investment plan (opex and capex) of £ 700m in total (including additional capex of £ 300m). This is close to normative global GDP growth. Whilst we are far more confident than we were in 2018 and 2019 on...WPP is a holding company.
