At the end of May, the alliance of Renault Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors presented its new mid-term plans, and so did Nissan itself, in a separate plan, trying to demonstrate how they were going to tackle one of the worst crises ever faced. These are not regular mid-term plans, but rescue plans, set to explain how the companies would work together, how they could cut costs and increase sales – in order to survive.
