The PSA Weekly Research Round up for the week ending 14 July 2023

Weekly Comment Summary
Yaskawa’s recent quarterly results lead PSA’s machinery analyst William Nestuk to consider the extent of an emerging recovery in demand from China.

Recording of our Fireside Chat with ExaWizards on Japan and AI – What’s it Got to Offer
PSA’s Lindsay Whipp hosted a fireside chat with ExaWizards Executive Officer Koichi Kawai to help us understand how AI is being used in Japan, and to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth – from a company that dedicates 100% of its time to the technology – the size of the market, the competition and future opportunities.

With so much discussion around AI centres on the US and China, ERP Software and IT Services analyst Lindsay delved into what is happening in Japan, given the country has some of the most challenging demographics and restrictive immigration policies in the world. Kawai-san noted that technology is really the only solution left for businesses to grow as access to labour shrinks. The question then is whether businesses in Japan are prepared for the role that AI will have to play, and whether AI ready for Japan’s needs. To hear the discussion, please contact our sales team.
