Rebote tímido y heterogéneo en mercados
La promesa de nuevos estímulos de J. Powell ante el Congreso si la actividad se sigue deteriorando, junto con un discurso más optimista de varios miembros de la Fed animó cierta recuperación en las bolsas de Europa, aunque las diferencias entre países según el impacto de la pandemia son notables (Alemania +0,6% vs España -0,5%). En EE.UU. las buenas cifras de ventas de viviendas de segunda mano estadounidense en agosto (índice de actividad manufacturero de Richmond de septiembre mejor) respaldaban un buen comportamiento del consumo cíclico aunque destacó nuevamente el buen performance de las FAANGs. Dentro del Euro STOXX lideraron el rebote Tecnología y S. Financieros frente a Viajes&Ocio y Seguros, que terminaron con caídas del -1%. Por el lado macro, en EE.UU, republicanos y demócratas llegaron a un acuerdo para evitar un shutdown. Por su parte, Trump cruzó acusaciones con China por la pandemia en la asamblea de las Naciones Unidas. Mientras, la FDA anunciará medidas más restrictivas para la aprobación de emergencia de la vacuna y descartó que se obtenga antes de las elecciones. En España, el gobierno madrileño es presionado para incrementar las restricciones de movilidad y se podrían dar nuevas medidas como ya está pasando en R. Unido. En Eurozona, la cumbre de la UE se retrasará hasta mediados de agosto por la cuarentena del presidente del Consejo. En Japón el PMI manufacturero decepcionó en septiembre al retener los niveles de agosto.
Qué esperamos para hoy
Las bolsas abrirían con ligeras subidas apoyadas por sectores cíclicos de sesgo growth. En estos momentos, los futuros del S&P cotizan con subidas del +0,23% (el S&P 500 cerró con subidas del +0,83% con respecto a los niveles a los que cotizaba al cierre de las bolsas en Europa). La volatilidad en EE.UU. bajo (VIX 26,86) Los mercados asiáticos cotizan mixtos (Japón -0,4% y Hong Kong +0,1%).
Hoy destacan en Alemania, Francia y la Eurozona el PMI de manufacturas y de servicios de septiembre. En España el PIB final del 2T’20. En subastas, Alemania (3.500 M euros en bonos vto 2035).
