NEWS SUMMARY: AEDAS, ELECTRICITY SECTOR, NEINOR HOMES, REPSOL, UNICAJA.

The Ibex near 16,500 points again
European stock markets rallied in a risk-on session, with cyclical companies faring better. In the STOXX 600, Technology and Banks were the best performers whereas Autos and Food posted the biggest drop. On the macro side, in the UK chancellor R. Reeves presented a more restrictive budget than initially expected (£ 26 Bn of savings vs. £ 15 Bn consensus), which led the Office for Budget Responsibility to cut the average growth forecast for 2026-29 to 1.5% vs. 1.8% previously. In the US weekly jobless claims moderated unexpectedly whereas October’s capital goods orders without the most volatile components came in far above expectations. The Fed’s Beige book depicted lacklustre economic growth, with a deeper K shape in consumption, investment and employment and with the last two headings also hit by the shutdown. In 3Q’25 US business results, Deere&Co in line with market expectations.
What we expect for today
European stock markets would open with a bearish slant following the rises from the last few sessions. Currently, S&P futures are flat (the S&P 500 ended -0.10% lower vs. the European closing bell). Asian markets are climbing (China’s CSI 300 +0.17%, Japan’s Nikkei +1.23% and Kospi +0.66%).
Today in the euro zone we will learn October’s M3 and November’s economic confidence index.
