MARKET COMMENT - NEW VERSION OF DASKAA SEES RUBLE DROP 1%, FUTURES 2% OVERNIGHTThe announcement of a new version of the US DASKAA bill saw the ruble tumble more than 1% overnight, and RTS futures are down more than 2% this morning. This came after yesterday's already weak performance of a 2.0% drop for the RTS to 1,191, compared with a flat day for the MSCI EM. News flow on sanctions will likely be the key theme of the early part of today's session, while developments on Brexit, Syria and European GDP releases may be of interest to investors more widely.
