CIS EUROBOND MARKETCIS sovereign Eurobonds closed little changed on Friday, as has been the case in most trading sessions so far in the second half of August. Among the outperformers were the Russia 42, Russia 47 and Tajikistan 27, which advanced 0.2 pp. Trading activity was extremely low once again, as investors continued to wait it out on the sidelines due to the high level of uncertainty stemming from heightened geopolitical risks. In addition, many traders in the UK had already left for the long weekend.GOVERNMENT DEBTOFZ yields mainly took their cue from the ruble on Friday. They did not move much in the first half of the session, but after 14:00 they started to drop. By the end of the day, yields on issues 4y and longer were 2 bps lower on average. Meanwhile, the 1y floating-rate OFZ 24019 and OFZ 29011 fell 15 bps and 10 bps in price. Volumes totaled R18 bln. The 2s10s spread tightened 3 bps over the course of last week.AK Alrosa PAO.
