MARKET COMMENT - RUSSIA LEADING MARKETS YTD AMID ESCALATED US/IRAN TENSIONSAfter an already stellar outperformance in 2019, Russia is near the top of performances for stock markets YTD, its MSCI index having gained 3.5% versus a 0.1% global average. A more than 1% gain in the ruble has been one of the drivers. Meanwhile, global markets have been weathering a sudden escalation in tensions between Iran and the US.
