CIS EUROBOND MARKETThe Russia 47 (+0.6 pp) led the gainers in the Russian sovereign Eurobond market yesterday thanks to elevated demand from local investors. It was followed by the Russia 42 and 43 (+0.2-0.3 pp).GOVERNMENT DEBTThe OFZ market remained flaccid yesterday. For nominal issues, a notable volume went through in the 10y OFZ 26228 (April 2030). The market probably expected the Finance Ministry to offer this issue at today's auctions. The yield on the paper rose 4 bps and put pressure on neighboring issues, which were yielding 2 3 bps higher. However, after the ministry announced it will place the 6y OFZ 26229 (November 2025) and the OFZ 52002 linker, yields at the long end returned to their previous closing levels. Volumes totaled R26.6 bln. Besides the OFZ 26228, the OFZ 26212 (January 2028) also saw elevated turnover. The OFZ 29011 floater, which is due for redemption next Wednesday, also saw higher turnover (R9 bln).
